We believe that a St. Mary School education should be financially accessible to any family in the parish who wants a Catholic education for their children. Therefore, need-based tuition assistance is available for parishioners of St. Mary’s Church. (In extenuating circumstances, and with the approval of the pastor and/or principal, financial assistance may be available to non-parishioners.) Financial Aid packets are available in the school’s business office. The application process is completely confidential. The priority deadline for application is April 15, for the following school year. However, families can apply at any time should an unexpected need arise after this date. Awards will be made based on need and the availability of funds. Families receiving financial aid must reapply yearly. Applications are processed by the FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Program. Applicants may submit a written application, or apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com. FACTS helps St. Mary School assess eligibility for financial aid, by standardizing the process and offering independent, objective financial analysis. Ultimately, award decisions are made by St. Mary School. Award notifications are made in June. In order to complete your application, you will need the following information: - Copies of your most recent IRS Federal Form 1040, or 1040A US Individual Income Tax Return, including all supporting tax schedules (C, E & F). FACTS does not accept State Tax returns.
- Copies of your most recent W-2 Wage and Tax Statements for both you and your spouse.
- Supporting documentation for household Social Security Income, Welfare, Child Support, Food Stamps, Worker’s Compensation, and TANE.
- Payment of a nonrefundable $20 application fee.
