Completed in 2004, the Sr. Cabrini Riordan Education Center is a dream made reality for the St. Mary Parish and School. The Center is named in memory of Sr. Cabrini Riordan, a Presentation Sister and beloved member of the St. Mary Parish community.
During the weekday, the center is home to school programs and administrative offices. In the evenings, and on weekends it is available for religious education classes, prayer groups, retreats, and meetings. In the space of only a year, the Center has become a focal point for the school and parish community.
The construction of the Center was an ambitious undertaking that was only realized through the generous support of parishioners, families and friends of the St. Mary Community. A parish-wide Capital Campaign was launched in 2002 to fund the construction of the building, and to support Diocesan capital efforts. Our Paving The Way Campaign raised over $40,000 to furnish the new facility. Capital Campaign efforts are still underway and include fundraising efforts for maintenance and upkeep of school buildings.
A heartfelt thank you is offered to all who made this facility, and the programs it houses, a reality. If you would like to contribute to the St. Mary Capital Campaign, please contact Nancy Smith-Fagan at 452-1100, ext. 16.
