A letter from our Parent Club President
Welcome to the 2007-2008 School Year!  As we enter another exciting year of religious and educational growth for our children, the Parent Club Board is equally excited for another opportunity for parents to significantly impact St. Mary School. The year is chock full of things we can do to help make both our children's time as well
as our own time at St. Mary's meaningful, beneficial, and ENJOYABLE!  I have mentioned to many friends that we have at least nine years here together, so we need to do all we can to make this a great time for our kids, and the grownups may as well have fun and enjoy our time here, too!  And that is just what I plan to do this year.

I have met many of you during my five years at St. Mary School and I look forward to meeting many more this year.  It is the bond between parents that is one of the many strengths of our school community.  Through our time together we work, raise our children, socialize with each other, put on activities and fundraisers, go to church, and many other things.  And because I have seen many great things occur during my time at St. Mary School, I am eager and excited about working with ALL of the parents this year.

Even though a few of us sit on the Parent Club Board, all parents are members of the Parent Club.  Throughout the year I encourage you to get involved and make your child's stay here the best it can be!  It is through you and your efforts that our community, our school and our children grow and thrive....
I raise my glass and thank ALL of you in the Parent Club, in advance, for what I know is going to be a GREAT 2007-2008 school year!

Paul Vasquez
Parent Club President
St. Mary School

  Statement of Purpose

The purpose of the Parent Club is to bring about a closer relationship between the school, the home and the Parish, and to give each of us the spiritual and material support without which we could not function efficiently and effectively.  All parents or guardians, and the staff of St. Mary School are automatically members of the Parent Club.  Parents or guardians are eligible to hold office on the Parent Club Board.

The Parent Club Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm in the Sr. Cabrini Center.
The next Parent Club Meeting is on: September 11, 2007
All parents are welcome to attend!  It's a great way to keep informed, and show your children that you are vitally interested in their school!
