A Letter from the President
Spring is here and I hope we all had a happy and blessed Easter. This is a time that I reflect and realize how blessed we are as a school and religious community. We are blessed by so many wonderful people who care about each other and give of themselves in many ways. And as we are starting to wind-down the year, I again want to thank all of you for your hard work and concern and for making this a wonderful and successful year for our children.
With registration just around the corner, I know people are now starting to think about next year. For those who missed-out or who are looking to get involved in some different activities next year, please stop by and speak with the Parent Club representatives at registration. We hope to help you find ways to get your parent commitment done in rewarding and enjoyable ways – so bring your questions!
As the end of the year draws near, we still have some great events upcoming: The Saint Mary Wine Tasting/Golf Tournament; the Mother/Daughter Night; and the Mother/Son RiverCats game!
I look forward to all these activities as much as I look forward to seeing you all there!

May is just around the corner and that means it’s time for the St. Mary’s Wine Tasting on Friday, May 16th, following the Golf Tournament! This event has become very popular and fills-up quickly so send in your RSVP forms early! Reservation forms are coming home today in the Pride envelope. Tickets are $35 if you order by Monday, May 5th. Extension will also be offered that evening to currently enrolled St. Mary students only. The price is $7 per child, but space will be limited so reserve your spot early.
This year we will be issuing tickets to the event. When you send in your reservation forms you will have the option of having your tickets sent home with your child or you may pick them up after school outside the office beginning Monday, April 21st.
Remember 50% of your ticket purchases will be credited towards your fundraising obligation for the 2008-09 school year. Get a jump on next year, bring your family and friends (21 and over) and join us for a fun-filled evening. You can even take your wine glass home with you at the end of the evening! ~ St. Mary Wine Tasting Committee
Don't miss out on this fun annual event! Tickets are on sale now for the Mother-Son River Cats game on May 4th. Tickets are $15.00 each which includes a complimentary hot dog meal at the tailgate party in the St. Mary School Plaza! The deadline to purchase tickets has been extended to April 16th.
